Shamari DeVoe is an American Actress, Singer-Songwriter, and Reality TV Star. She is mostly known as the lead singer of the iconic R&B group Blaque. What the world does not know about Shamari DeVoe, is that she is so much more than that. She is also passionate about sharing her difficulties with conception, and fertility in hopes to help other women experiencing the same issue. It was an absolute pleasure to interview this amazing woman.

Veronica Charnell: After working with the other cast members of the reality show, BET Presents The Encore. Do you miss being in a female R&B Group?

Shamari DeVoe: Being a cast member on The Encore. helped me to realize how blessed I am to be in a girl group such as Blaque that is still together to this day. Yes, we’ve been through ups and downs, but ultimately we stuck it out and we are still sisters to this day. We have a true sisterhood where we are able to look back at our challenges while celebrating our success. There’s so much victory in that.
