Do you remember Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine?

In case you don’t, they were an English indie punk band mainly active in the early-to-mid-1990s. During their most popular period, they were a duo with a distinctive pop-punk sound of rock guitars combined with programmed beats and bass lines that gave their songs a machine-tight rhythm. Their lyrics often included a lot of clever and humorous wordplay.

Sheriff Fatman (1990)

A humorous look at slum landlords and the terrible way they treat their tenants.

Surfin’ USM (1991)

The beginning contains a sample from the British sitcom Red Dwarf. It then cuts to a recording of the band’s crowd shouting “YOU FAT BASTARD” at their warm-up guy.
