First Aid Kit Gets It
Playing Americana and beyond
Somehow First Aid Kit has been in my Apple Music downloads for more than a year, but I know neither the time nor the conditions under which I added them. Not that I suspect foul play or the onset of memory loss; rather, I understand that keeping up with my own, much less the American, music experience has become increasingly unwieldy.
First, yes I know that sisters Klara and Johanna Soderberg are Swedish. But this is all new information, because up until a few weeks ago, I had forgotten that I knew the band, even though last winter as my daughter and I were shopping in a cool but greatly overpriced local emporium (featuring fine gear, clothes, pottery, scents, and coffee table books), we heard this song coming through the sound system:
