Since music hits existed, there have been flops. Mariah Carey’s Glitter didn’t receive love, and Madonna has had her stinkers.

However, flops took on a different meaning in the 2010s. Users of TikTok used the term ‘flop era’ to describe disappointing music from artists. Of course, flop doesn’t mean the artist’s music is terrible. Instead, it means musicians have stopped producing quality music or have lost relevance; their music has become disappointing.

This term is valid for these albums, as female divas and pop stars received the short end of the stick during the flop era. But, a couple of men had their failures, as we will see on the list. In addition, many pop stars reinvent yet fall short. Nicki Minaj also has a feature in most of these albums. It makes sense. She was everywhere in 2010.

Without further ado, these are the flop-era albums.
