It’s been such a looooong time.
Where Did I Go?
When I announced that I was going on vacation, I was only on vacation from The Riff. I wasn’t on vacation from anything else. I needed to reduce my workload at that point in time — I was focused on getting other aspects of my life in order.
What started as one month turned into two, three, and now four.
I’m not going to get into specifics, but things in life got in the way and I simply wasn’t able to partake in anything beyond them. I felt happy, sad, and guilty about this. Happy for what I was doing; sad that it took so much of my life and time from things like The Riff; guilty that I left for much longer than expected.
All in all, though, I miss The Riff a lot and I’m finally in a place in life where I can be more involved again.
So where did I go?
Travels!
Technically it’s “where am I going” as I’ve been traveling indefinitely.
