I am unsure what’s going on lately, but I’ve seen Nirvana writing everywhere. Maybe I’m stuck in a bizarre Nirvana algorithm, which is certainly possible. Is there an anniversary that I missed? Oh, right, it’s the thirtieth anniversary of his suicide. And that did suck. It still does.

However, I blame Dave Grohl because he is everywhere.

Can we expect a barrage of Nirvana stories and Dave Grohl sightings every time the Foo Fighters tour? God, I hope not.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Pearl Jam. Their sound resonates with me more than Nirvana’s. It’s all about personal taste.

But let’s also be honest; Nirvana never got to release their Riot Act. Rest assured, they absolutely would’ve released a hunk of poop at some point.

Sometimes, I like to tell people that I’ve never heard of Nirvana (but somehow have in-depth knowledge of every other band from that era). Boy, howdy, you wanna see someone get pissed… they’re face goes beat red, and the middle vein on their forehead pops out; it’s fantastic.

It’s like telling someone your favorite…
