Hi everyone —
With so many new people recently joining us (hi there!) and the platform undergoing so many changes, this was a good time to update the community on the state of play and answer some of the more commonly asked questions.
First, some numbers:
As I type this, The Riff community has swelled to just over 22 thousand members. It wasn’t that long ago that Noah, Rob, and I were excitedly messaging each other when we cleared 2k. The idea that we could pack an entire arena is equal parts incredible and humbling. And it comes with a responsibility no one here takes lightly.
Of course, no one would be here if the writing wasn’t top-notch. So, before I go any further, let me thank you again for the outstanding work you submit daily. I’ve said it before, but one of the perks of this job is getting a first look at something I know readers will love. It’s still one of my favorite things about being here.
Speaking of responsibilities, we are also part of Medium’s Boost Program. There are many misconceptions about what it is or how it operates, and I want to take just a second to clarify some of those.
