It isn’t surprising that many acts in the late ’60s had their 15-minutes of fame. Jerry Samuels (Napoleon XIV) astonished the masses with “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!” and a lanky whimsical character amassed crowds by playing his ukulele with a high-pitched voice.
