On a quiet early July afternoon, after finishing my work, I headed to the kitchen to wash the dishes. As I washed, I kept thinking about when to tell the people I meet on Medium (and those in real life) about my mental problems, and disability.
It looks like I just did.
In a matter of seconds, countless thoughts about when I’ll say popped into my head, screaming to find an answer. I could’ve submitted to my raging mind, but it simmered down when I reminded myself of what I learned in meditation to keep focused and understand my thoughts.
Regardless, I kept washing dishes when out of the blue; I received a text from good ol’ Noah Levy asking if I wanted to host The Riff’s Greatest Hits this week. Immediately, I said yes. I couldn’t refuse such an offer. So, after my folly and brief texting with Noah, I went on a riff article frenzy, reading every story to make sure I missed nothing exceptional.
