I was crate diving again Thursday in a place in Landrum, South Carolina, by the clever and beckoning name of “Savvy Scavengers.” It’s cool, I guess, to be flattered as savvy before you enter the door. Like always, I wondered what this building used to be. I’m guessing an old IGA grocery store — too big for an A&P or Kroger, for sure.
