Seeing a Band Perform in Their Hometown
A Chicano Batman concert in their — and my — native Los Angeles
Chicano Batman is a band I’ve followed for some time now, attracted to their unique and catchy yet easygoing sound. Mixing genres like rock, funky tropicália, and psychedelic soul, they draw on many musical influences but feel singular to me, especially among other modern American bands.
