The 90s were a big year for music; there wasn’t one day something would come out. The early 90s were the start of the grunge era or, most notably, Alternative Rock. Many bands created music that was heavy and cathartic. The band everyone points to when they think of the 90s, Nirvana created this unique blend; slow, melodic verses and fast-paced choruses.

Many bands rode on the curtails of Nirvana like Soundgarden and Faith No More. One band used this style to their advantage, and a significant label picked them up. The band is Hum. Hum had a decent run in the 90s, releasing an album that reached chart success. They had the makings of one of the best bands of the alt-rock genre. So, where they go?
