As the caption proclaims, yes, rock-and-roll never dies. Rock bands, and music enthusiasts in the past decades, have said that rock is dead.

No, rock hasn’t died; it only changed. In the late ’00s and ’10s, we witnessed the indie-rock revolution, with bands such as Neon Trees and Modest Mouse.

Despise or adore them, Nickelback, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons kept the rock spirit alive by formulating new concepts for the half-century-old genre.

Rock isn’t going anywhere; it’ll keep shifting and taking on diverse forms. Such is the case with Måneskin (moan-a-skin), an Italian rock band reminding you that rock is here to stay. They’re bringing back ’70s rock-and-roll, and they don’t care if you like it or not.

In 2015, Måneskin began their search for stardom on the outskirts of Rome when middle school friends Damiano David (vocals) and Victoria De Angelis (bass) had aspirations to form a band. To make their visions come true, they recruited another friend from grade school, Thomas Raggi (guitar); and Ethan Torchio (drums) through a Facebook ad called Musician Wanted Rome.
