The Road to Code: The Decision

Lebron James lamenting that he didn’t choose a career in software

Well, the decision has been made, and the student enrollment agreement has been signed. I’ll be taking my “talents” (more like hard work and hopefully potential talent) to Silicon Hills, joining the August cohort at Galvanize Austin!

I haven’t quite decided whether this decision will affect Austin as much as Lebron’s decision affected South Beach, but I have to think it will be at least vaguely comparable.

Shout out to my sweet wife Katherine for her constant and consistent support. She was with me as we signed the student agreement together last night, and she has been nothing short of lovely throughout this process.

So, there you have it. Now we just have to figure out small details like quitting our jobs, how we’re going to pay for this thing, where we’re going to live, etc. Such a good opportunity to work hard to figure things out while trusting throughout that God will provide. He has been, is, and will be so good, no matter what happens. Thanks for reading!
