Sept 12. Chattanooga → St. Louis, by way of “Land Between the Lakes”
Every day on the road we tried to build in a stop for a hike or at least a long exploring-walk so the dogs could get out and stretch their legs and not be in the car too long at a time. It helped break up the trip, but it took some creativity to plan each leg.
- Coffee/breakfast: Niedlov’s
- Hike: Land Between the Lakes (KY)
- Lunch: The Thirsty Turtle Tavern
Not mad at getting to spend time in unsung places we may have otherwise drove straight through and missed out on.
