They couldn’t even bother to use higher quality textures.

It’s that time of the month again: A new ROBLOX event advertising a certain brand; this time, Nerf.

Yet again, it includes terrible and low quality prizes that you have to work tirelessly for. Now you’re probably thinking to yourself “Who the hell would want this?”. The answer? Desperate players.

You see, with the removal of TIX, NBC’ers (Non-Builders Club Members) have been severely limited in opportunity and only being able to acquire a very minimal selection of clothing. And no, game development won’t get them anywhere since they need money for ads. They have no choice other than “Nerf or nothing”… well, apart from scamming. And strangely enough, this formula works well.

ROBLOX, by presenting low quality options, allows them to advertise and make loads of money off of it. If the prizes were of any quality, the NBC players wouldn’t be under any pressure to pay, and you can bet your blocky ass that ROBLOX had that in mind.

After all, ROBLOX is a business: a dishonest one, but a business nonetheless, and someone has to give up dough for David’s bills and weekend yoga classes.
