New year, big changes!

As you might already know, the new year will bring some pretty big changes to The Rock Trading. We are going to lower the fees on withdrawals, adopt a new fee/discount system and we are moving our bank accounts to a new provider.

New bank accounts

From now on, new bank accounts are available through Mistralpay Ltd, a company that holds the European PSD license. The old bank account will be closed at the end of the current month (December 2016).

When you make a deposit to your The Rock account, remember to always include your RockID in the transfers’ notes.

The new bank accounts will be available only for Euro deposits. If you need to deposits US Dollars, you can do so through OkPay or Cryptocapital.

Lower fees on withdrawals

From January on, we will lower the fees on withdrawals. Fees will be as follows:

  • Bitcoin withdrawal: 0.0005 BTC (currently 0.001 BTC)
  • SEPA withdrawal (up to 1000 €): 1.50 € (currently 2 €)
  • SEPA withdrawal (over 1000 €): 2.50 € (currently 5 €)
  • Non-SEPA withdrawal: 0.15 % of the amount (min. 25 €)

More discounts!

And what about trading fees? The base commission will be equal to 0.20% (as now). Discounts levels will be simplified: there will be three levels, with discounts up to 90%, based on the last-30-days trading volume.

You can check the up-to-date fees on our dedicated page: The Rock Trading / Fees. If you have questions about the discount levels, you are welcome to contact us through our support system.
