Out of service

This is going to be short. I’m still not feeling well, an although I intended to run today, I had to call it out and instead, just lay on the couch and rest and even take a nap.

We are too close now at the take too high to risky all because push hard on a session just a week away.

Not ideal, but I’m ok with it. I know I’ve done the work, everything from here to race day is never going to be about improvement, but about sustaining the gains obtains from the training during the last three months.

It is weird, because I actually don’t know if I’m actually sick, just tired from a lot of work and lack of proper sleep, or if just anxiety kicking in; but the only thing I know is that in cases like this, it is always better to rest than force it.

I’m confident than when I go out on Sunday for the very last long run before the race I’ll be fine and will feel comfortable enough, and even if things go beyond expectation these following day, I know I’m saving it all for the big, that I’ll be rested and ready to deliver. Ready for the action.
