While most of us are still recovering from the dark “injustice” aftershock from Netflix’s Making a Murderer. The Golden Globes seems to have crept up on us like a cop trying to plant evidence in our bedroom. Today, we pulled ourselves together to get ready for Awards Season, and all of the red carpet styles. So what’s the most talked about look this year!? Here’s our run down:

1. Let’s face it: Jennifer Lawrence — you did it again!!

Not sure how this girl pulls it off, but somehow she’s managed to wow us on every red carpet! This Dior dress is fabulous in every way. First of all, that curve waist-cut is one of the first in the fashion world. Unconventional silhouettes can sometimes be the sexiest. The hairdo / make-up / and the crystal neck piece — we are obsessed!! Predicting this mid-waist cut will transition to street look soon. Watch out!

2. The Golden Mermaid look! Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson is the red carpet golden honey, and she’s melted our heart again and again. Kate clearly knows she’s the one who pulls off the colour gold better than anyone else (as a daughter of Goldie). Classy! Wild! Sweet! Can’t get enough of it!

3. Strike the bold graphic — Olivia Palermo, Jaimie Alexander, Amy Schumer

Striking graphic, bold block colours, pockets, pockets… and more pockets!!! Bringing the streets to the carpet, a re-defined modern woman trend. Another favourite for sure.

4. All time classics — Lady Gaga

Queen Gaga. Speechless. That is all!

Jane, mm…. NO not really! here’s the fail list.

Is it a neck piece, a skirt or a birthday cake? We can’t figure it out.

All these ladies just had too much curtain-like layers on. We also not big fans of skinny body types (looking at you, Heidi).

We’d love to hear what you think of this year’s Golden Globe looks.
