MBFW SYD 2016 — Our picks from the runway
This seasons’ Sydney Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week wrapped up with another load of amazing new inspirations from the runway. Here’s some of our favourites.
Akira Isogawa
Akira had been my personal favourite in the Australian fashion scene ever since he launched the first ever collection. His designs aesthetic focuses on light weight textiles with flowing movement, yet emphasis a strong persona.
Dion Lee
At the young age of 30, Dion had established his career on the international reach. In this new collection, we are still in love with Dion’s signature simple, elegant geometric tailoring with a touch of new wave playful materials.
Zhivago
It was rebel. It was theatrical. What a show! Zhivago’s electric display of the new season selection was shimmery, dark, with a rebel edge.
KIT X
Kit X has always been so true to their vision and quality. In this year’s runway, we just fell a little more in love with the brand. It was confident, fierce, and so comfortable. The collection is without doubt another sold out.
