Pretty Pictures from Frantic Frankfurt

Here’s what happened when theSalariya took on Frankfurt Book Fair 2013…

Last month, we took 48 brand new projects and our beautiful Big Book to the BIGGEST Book Fair in the world. With a tradition spanning over 500 years and halls boasting 7500 exhibitors from over 110 countries, The Frankfurt Book Fair is a seriously big deal. Our team were incredibly busy negotiating their socks off with editors and publishers from all over the world, but they still found a bit of time to take some pretty pictures for you. Here’s how we got on:

Here we are getting our stall ready in one of the gargantuan halls — before all the lush carpets were put down. It looked lovely when it was finished, honest…

…See? There’s David Salariya busy showing new projects.

…And again! Here he is with Dejan Begovic from Kreativni Centar, the Serbian publishers of our You Wouldn’t Want to Be series. See him looking through the Big Book? Here’s a better look:

Sigh, so pretty… Our Big Book boasts images and information on all our latest projects. We’d let you look inside, but it’s top secret.

Our Foreign Rights Manager, Lizzie Kelly (left), and Business Development Consultant Roberta Bailey (right) certainly had their work cut out for them in Frankfurt…

…with a host of titles to show to clients. This is just a few of our releases from the fab Jane Hissey, Alex Woolf and Dan Scott.

…And a few Book House titles, including some of our Top Ten Worst books, which have been shortlisted for Best Series/Brand Identity at the British Book Design and Production Awards.
