Do hotel employees care that you are cheating?

Can hotel employees suspect which couples are cheaters?

YES.

THEY CAN ALWAYS TELL.

Why? Because they are the smiling ones. The married couples — not so much. LOL.

It’s the sense of playfulness — that unmistakable joy in seeing each other that married couples have lost.

Bartenders, waiters, and receptionists aren’t stupid, either. If you’re holding hands, gazing into each others eyes, and not looking at your phones, well, ding-a-ling…you’re stepping out. They don’t care as long as you tip nicely. And don’t be rude. Be kind. Follow the golden rule in life, and you will be treated well.

And hotel staff don’t mind unless you leave the room a biohazard zone. And leave a tip for the maid.

I used the same hotel for a year with one AP. We were regulars on Tuesdays from 11 am to 3 pm. The front desk girl knew us even though we came and left separately. She saw our beaming faces, and she KNEW we were cheating — it was obvious.
