Just One Night — Part 1
I didn’t meet up with him to cheat. I didn’t. Really. All I wanted was to make amends and give him a chance to verbally shit on me like I deserved.
At least, that’s what I told myself as I pulled my skirt over the lacy thong I had chosen to wear for some reason. Black as my soul had become ever since Nick began training for manager. I thought it was fitting, even if no one would see it.
Most days, I didn’t bother with the sexy underwear. But most days I got up, went to work and came home knowing nothing was going to change. No one at work was worth looking good for, and Nick certainly wasn’t going to be in the mood.
He never was.
Tripp, on the other hand, had always wanted me. I knew he would be looking, and I wanted to make sure there was something to see. My skirt had a habit of shifting and riding up sometimes, after all. It was innocent, really. Just a ploy for attention, nothing more.
And God, did I need the attention.
After months of getting the runaround with Nick, I had finally pushed him to his breaking point.
“All you ever talk about is sex! It’s all about sex with you!” He had exclaimed a few nights before.
