There was once a little girl named Nadja born near Halloween. Her birthday was so close; she arrived home from the hospital on that holiday.

Must’ve been a day like no other for her mom. Newborn baby, candy, trick-or-treaters, and horror movies.

As Nadja grew, she had birthday parties full of all things fun and spooky. Kids in costumes, a scary good cake, with pumpkin displays.

Halloween birthdays are magical events. A day when all can be anyone they wish! Proudly show to the world for a glimpse. The world feels like a play.

While many little girls wanted to be a princess, Nadja didn’t think of such things. Nope, she wanted to be a witch!

Every year when her mother asked what she wanted to be for Halloween. Nadja said with pride, “WITCH!”

So, a witch she was year after year.

Trick or treating with identical twin cousins Shannon and Michelle. Twas a magical moment for this sweetie. Loving nostalgia from the early 80s.

The time came for Nadja to try other costumes. She retired the witchy stuff far into elementary years — through adulthood.
