Creation is something
Of a perplexing sensation
As though you’re trying to
Catch your reflection in water
Just as you try to grab its essence
It dissipates
Ripples away
Yet, each time you begin again
Looking, searching
Just as it calms and stills
You’re peering in now
With squinted, inquisitive eyes
You gasp
You’ve captured it again
Once again
It reflects your muse
