Toxicity isn’t toxic till it becomes the antidote
Enduring the poison under spell of the flavor
Before long the pill reached down my throat
Notwithstanding the pain, I lingered a craver
Self-inflicting more for the sake of a sliver
Of sweet and bitterness, demanded neither
From woes to wretchedness, it’d deliver
To be then the one and only reliever
Hardly seemed toxic within the sugarcoat
Sometime the devil is deemed the savior
Like a sailor that storm rocked his boat
Claiming the sharks made him a favor
