School of AI Launches Fellowship Program to Support and Grow emerging AI Talent
School of AI launches a global fellowship program to attract and recruit outstanding young researchers to lead impactful and independent AI research
Meet the School of AI 2018 Fellows!
San Francisco — October 8, 2018 — Continuing its commitment to offering a world-class AI education to anyone on Earth for free, School of AI today announced the launch of the School of AI Fellowship Program, which will offer 10 fellows from around the world financial support to pursue impactful and independent AI research.
“We believe that by enabling individuals from all around the world to do research with a complete pipeline of resources, from funding to research mentorship to helping them submit their work to relevant outlets, the entire AI community will benefit,” Siraj Raval, Founder of School of AI.
We will be granting 10 of the most promising fellows in AI and ML who are interested in making the long-term, large-scale impacts of AI a central focus of their research $1,000 GCP cloud credits as well as an advisor from the AI community.
We believe that artificial intelligence has the ability to solve some of the worlds most pressing issues from poverty to climate action and may lead to changes in human civilization. The School of AI Fellows has a broad mandate to think through which kinds of AI and ML research are likely to bring the most value and to share ideas with their local School of AI community, which are composed of like-minded individuals.
