#28 Cardiology illustrations and more: The best medical illustrations

Hi there! It is friday again. Before we talking about the expectations for the weekend, I want to show the new illustrations we added on Mind the Graph this week. Artery structure and Atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis is a disease in which the inside of an artery narrows due to the build up of plaque. When severe, it can result in coronary artery disease, stroke, peripheral artery disease, or kidney problems, depending on which arteries are affected.

We added illustrations of healthy arteries, the initial stages of atherosclerosis and the severe stage, so you can combine them to show the disease progression.
