Dear Mr. President:

Greetings!

The Philippines has witnessed a significant “change” especially when it comes to your aggressive campaign on illegal drugs. This has brought a message of hope and security to all Filipinos, however the country has also witnessed numerous cases of extra-judicial killings due to suspected vigilantes. There are also many reported cases of drug-related personalities being killed during police raids. Alleged drug pushers are also gunned down despite the fact that they are under the police custody. Relatives of the dead are also openly expressing their fury regarding these unconstitutional killings, claiming that they are putting down the wrong people. This is a grave problem that we should pay attention to. If these personalities were killed without due process, we could not be certain if they are guilty or not. Once a soul is lost, it can never be revived back.

Will we allow to continue shooting down our own only due to unproven allegations? Hopefully, we will not. Thy consideration is highly appreciated.

Yours Truly,

A Concerned Citizen
