Palace extends suspension, students advised to prep for Foundation Days

Retracting a previous announcement, Malacañang Palace extends the suspension of classes for all levels and government work nationwide to tomorrow, October 17.

In a statement released by the Presidential Communications Operations Office, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ordered the extension tomorrow still due to the nationwide Transportation Strike, among other reasons.

Executive Secretary Medialdea suspends government work and classes for all levels, public and private, tomorrow, October 17, 2017 due to [sic] nationwide transport strike, public health and safety.

In response to the suspension, Campus Director Reynaldo Garnace advises students to come to school tomorrow in preparation for the Foundation Days Celebration.

Please be advised to report tomorrow due to preparation for Foundation Day. But if you are affected by transportation, you may be excused. Wear civilian attire only. Thank you!”
