Blue remains the color of royalty as House Mystic tops the overall scoreboard in the Philippine Science High School — Eastern Visayas Campus’ (PSHS-EVC) annual Sportsfest last October 24–28.

Mystic, dominating all event categories except the Junior Games, garnered a total of 2169. 47 points, trailed by Valor with 2129.39 and Instinct with 2006.95.

The winning house placed first in the Basketball Boys — Category B, Basketball Girls — Category A and B, and Volleyball Boys — Category B. Instinct and Valor, on the other hand, secured two firsts of their own, with Instinct winning in Boys’ Basketball and Volleyball — Category A and Valor in both categories of the Girls’ Volleyball tournament.

It was a close fight between Valor and Mystic in the Junior and Minor games. Mystic placed first in 8 games, Valor in 5 and Instinct in 4.

Despite their loss in the Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest, House Mystic topped in the annual Cheerdance Competition, and both of Mystic’s Dance Sport Pairs finished first and second in the Dance Sport Competition, edging out the two other houses in the Special Events.
