Pisay girls win LSGH Interscholastic Math Competition

A team of students from the Philippine Science High School - Main Campus (PSHS-MC) bagged awards at the La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) Annual Girls’ Interscholastic Math Competition last January 25.

Students Agnes Robang (11-D), Alyssa Guevara (10-Photon), and Jana Montanez (9-Lithium) claimed third place in the Team Oral Competition. Guevara also won first place in the Individual Written Competition for Geometry, while Robang placed second for Trigonometry. The girls were trained and accompanied by Math teacher Ms. Darlene Gustilo.

The Annual Girls’ Interscholastic Math Competition, open to female students from both public and private high schools, aims to promote knowledge in mathematics through healthy competition. It covers topics from Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
