Whatever be your goal, it turns into reality only when you catch the right road to achieve it. Adding to it, you need to be aware of all modes that will take you through that path. If your dream is to be a Government Servant, then this story will be helpful.

So now, WHO ARE YOU?

Here, it is.👇

Firstly,

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION:

A central government commission which conducts exams for various posts for the central government. Here I am going to give you an idea about 3 categories of exams it conducts.

1.Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam-CHSL:

This exam is comparatively easy to clear as it is of a basic level. But several mock practices are needed to crack it, because of the rising competitions and less time given to complete the exam.

— what is the minimum educational qualification needed? →You must have passed class 12th or it’s equivalently acceptable by the commission.

what should be the age limit? → Between 18 and 27.

How many levels? →2 LEVELS

— Tier 1-a computer-based online exam of one hour.

— Tier 2- a pen and paper mode exam of one hour.

As this exam attracts nearly 60 lakhs applicants each year, the competition goes on rising. Those who wish to prepare for it, start your typing course by side. It is not compulsory but this will be helpful to get an edge for certain posts under CHSL that needs typing skill.

2. Combined Graduate Level-SSC-CGL:

— What is the minimum educational qualification needed? You should be a Bachelor’s degree holder of any subject with Mathematics / Statistics / Economics as a compulsory/ an elective subject.

— What is the age limit to apply?→ Between 20 and 32

— How many levels?Totally 4 LEVELS

— Tier 1-a computer-based online exam of 1 hour.

— Tier 2-a computer-based online exam of 2 hours.

— Tier 3-a pen and paper-based written exam of 1 hour.

— Tier 4- is a Data entry skill test/Computer proficiency Test for candidates applying for TA (Tax Assistant) and ASO (Assistant Section Officer) post(Not for all).

This exam needs at least 6 months of preparation plus mock tests to crack because of its difficulty level. With hard work and consistent practice, the difficulty level decreases, and your edge in exam gets stronger.

3. Combined Police Organisation Exam SSC-CPO

Many Indian youngsters are attracted towards the uniform services. This is because of the pride held by the uniform. This exam recruits for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police for Central Police Organisation (CPO).

— what is the minimum educational qualification needed?Holding a bachelor’s degree in any subject qualifies you to apply for it.

— What is the age limit to apply?→Between 20 to 25 years.

— Paper 2- a pen and paper-based written exam of 2 hours.

— Following that, you will be examined for fitness and medical test. Make yourself ready for the fitness tests which is important for most of the uniform services exams.

The cap on the head of a cop gives him the majesty that none of the other jobs could ever provide him. Are you dreaming about that? Then don’t miss notifications regarding this exam.

EMPLOYMENT PROVIDENT FUND ORGANISATION -EPFO:

Indian Postal Recruitment gives many opportunities for the candidates to grab a government job. Here I am going to discuss two such opportunities.

Gram Dak Sevak Post:

— No examination conducted for this post. Selection is based on the Class 10 marks of the candidates.

Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants Exam:

The exam is conducted to fill the vacancy of postal assistants and sorting assistants in Saving Bank Control Organisation, Foreign Post Organisation, Returned Letter Offices, Mail Motor Services, Circle, and Regional Offices.

Stage 2- Computer/Typing Test.

If you are interested in preparing this exam, start your typing course by side. This will give you an edge in this exam.

Why these exams? Grouped these exams under one roof as these exams need a similar way of preparation. As you do more research about these exams, you will find many things to be common in the syllabus of these exams.

The above-listed exams include Mathematical Aptitude, General English, Reasoning, General Studies and Current Affairs in its exam syllabus.

But it doesn’t mean that the same topic/subject questions asked in all exams will be of the same pattern. The questions get differ according to the difficulty level. But the topics remain the same.

Learn the static part of each subject and try to solve the previous year’s questions of the above-listed exams. So you will get the idea to tackle the same topic questions of different exams.
