Why should one Read ?
Books have the power to change ideas; beliefs and they transfer to the reader a magical world, each brilliant in their own right.
The reader can become a bundle of wonderful thoughts, ideas and, most importantly, imagination.
I think that people who read are generally smarter and have to increase their IQ. Reading also improves your vocabulary, your grammar and language. Children who start reading at a small age tend to be more creative than other children who don’t read.
Reading the newspaper everyday can keep a person well informed. The concept of learning would be difficult with the absence of reading. Being able is to read is a vital way to gain new information.
In today’s ever-developing technological world, the importance of books is decreasing. Children remain glued to electronic screens and forget about the books. It is vital for people to learn the importance of reading, and cultivate good reading habits to hone their brain, memory, and start thinking out of the box.
Even just twenty to twenty-five minutes can be set aside for reading everyday. Children should be encouraged to read by making them members of local children’s libraries.
I am of the opinion that parents should limit the usage of their child’s electronic device usage and encourage them to read as well as use the electro-device.
Reading makes us smarter, sharper and creative, is what I believe. People must acknowledge the importance of books and reading, and take a step toward reading and start reading more often.
