For all those big believers of capacity-based planning!

Capacity is one of those nice to have inputs for planning and never a pre-requisite data for decision making.

When the capacity is considered quite seriously in your planning context, you are for sure subscribing to a system filled with enough variability.

Yet you haven’t heard the bad news, which is — Committing to full capacity in your planning introduces variability, in turn pulling down all those measures you have taken to appreciate predictability in your system.
