The world of Sprint Goal with Scrum Masters who are stuck in their past beliefs (rooting back to Industrial age):

  • Sprint Goal is a summary statement which is coined at the end of the Sprint Planning
  • If Sprint Goal is difficult to craft, remember it is optional and you can skip
  • Capacity for the Sprint Goal is equal to the available capacity
  • Why just one, when you can craft one for everyone! Lets go with multiple goals
  • Finishing work is the goal, what else?
  • Sprint Goal and Predictability has no relationship with each other
  • Sprint goes fine even after you abandon your Sprint Goal
  • Crafting Sprint Goal is the job of Squad Lead and not the entire Scrum Team
  • Let the Sprint Goal come to existence with no relationship to your Product Goal / Quarterly Objectives
  • Commitment is to everything, while Sprint Goal is for the tool (to remain compliant)

Note: Please dont try any of the above practices in your Scrum Team. They are bound to add more waste, reduce transparency and increase complexity.
