JJ, Senior Software Engineer
JJ spent the last few years working both, as a mobile app developer for a startup and as a web developer leading her freelance engineering team. She also taught iOS app development at Facebook University. She acquired project and time management skills, as well as the ability to communicate with her team members and clients while effectively meeting milestones and deadlines.
JJ has worked on web and mobile based projects for a range of clients providing Web Design using technologies like Sketch and Invision, and Development using languages and technologies: PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Swift, Objective C, WordPress, Bootstrap, Responsive Layouts, eCommerce Solutions, Search Engine Optimization and time/project management technologies like: Github, Zenhub, Zoom, and Slack.
JJ completed her Masters degree in Computer Science and has extensively studied software engineering principles, computer security, operating systems, database design, user experience design, wireframes, needfinding, and worked in teams in which she puts to good use on every project she works on.

Ben, Senior Software Engineer
Ben develops custom websites and mobile applications. He leads the flagship iPhone application for a hospital that has 40,000 monthly users. He also built a therapeutic iPad application used by UCSD surgeons.
Prior to this, Ben worked as a Product Manager, Data Governance Specialist and Mobile Applications Developer. He also worked in 7 research laboratories across UC San Diego and Harvard Medical School. In addition to his experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine management (SEM), he was awarded the UCSD Outstanding Marketing Plan of the Year. He won first place in the UC Health Hackathon and developed technology for hospitals.
Ben develops in Swift, Python, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and dozens of programming languages and tools. These include: Java, C, C++, C#, SQL, R, Bootstrap, Node, Keras, SciKit Learn, Tableau, Git, Command Line, several machine learning frameworks and many other tools.
Ben earned awards from several of the nation’s most competitive programs including NASA, Ford, Ashoka and the National Science Foundation. Other honors include the Westly Prize for Young Innovators of California (named a top 10 Californian under the age of 28) and the City of Downey, Mayor’s DNA award — along with a commemorative plaque from his hometown. He brings this same level of focus, creativity and ambition to the websites and apps he will build for your business.
