Just kidding.

I mean, anything else I can say won’t be nearly as meaningful as Theodore Roosevelt, but let me just say a few words that you’ll forget.

It doesn’t matter how yesterday went, nor last week, nor last month or year. It doesn’t matter what you haven’t done in the past or even what you have done. All that matters is today.

Carpe Diem. Sound your barbaric yawp. Haters gonna hate. Take the road less traveled. You do you.

One of those will hopefully resonate with you. For me it’s always been Carpe Diem. Seize the day. Today is a brand new day with no mistakes and you can be that writer you’ve always dreamed of being today.

A writer will never be perfect every day and maybe never one single day, but you don’t have to be perfect. Not even once. Just be you, and do the best you can today. Dare greatly!
