Welcome to “The Season”

’Tis The Season for Sports, Pop Culture and whatever else we want to say.

The Season is my new publication on Medium that will be home to my latest content.

I’ve experimented with various different mediums and names for homes for my work, but Medium is by far my favorite site and I think The Season is a great name.

There are seasons for all aspects of our culture: Sports, T.V., movies, music and politics.

And with the influence of social media and new technology, off-seasons don’t really exist anymore, in anything.

During the “off-season” for certain sports, we consume just as much storylines as we do during the actual season.

After the season finale of a television show, we have Netflix (and other outlets, but Netflix reigns over our time) to re-watch previous seasons and episodes we missed or catch up on the show we’ve always wanted to watch but just didn’t catch in time.

We are currently in an election season, and there are absolutely no off-days in that arena.

That being said, today, there is really no such thing as an Off-Season.

It’s always The Season.
