Nothing is more exhilarating than the rush of seeing the person you’re falling in love with again. Everything is exciting, new, and fascinating. You want to know everything about this person there is to know and spend as much time with them as possible. And suddenly, just like that, the world is perfect, and everything is as it should be.

Sparks are flying, and your stomach’s full of butterflies.

This first phase of a committed relationship is known as the honeymoon phase. A phase that entails strong attraction, you think that the person you’re seeing is perfect and can’t do no wrong, and you paint everything in the best and brightest colors. And what’s more, you are more likely to overlook red flags, quirks, or frustrations. Therefore, is the honeymoon phase as enjoyable and great as it is made out to be?
