My experience today with TW, errr “Spectrum”, I mean AT&…well who the fuck really cares what you name your shitty company. Rebrand all you want, you will still suck ad infinitum.
- Called the TW number to pay a past balance on an account I had autopay set up on and was told that I needed to be transferred to the California team (I’m in Texas now). I asked for the phone number and was told “they are not allowed to give that out”. Got disconnected.
- Called back and asked to be transferred to the California team and was told there was no way to be transferred, but here’s the California number.
- Called number I was given. Apparently, it’s disconnected cause it always gives busy signal.
- Live chatted their customer service, who said billing questions had to got through their telephone customer service. Gave me a different toll free number I needed to call.
- Called second toll-free number and was told that they could only handle Texas accounts and was given a third number for the California team.
- Called third number and after explaining the situation again, was told I needed to be transferred to the billing department.
- Explained the situation again to the billing department and was told that I was speaking to the “business billing” department and I needed to speak with the “residential billing” department.
- Finally paid my $40 bill.
Silver lining: customer service has got to get better — cause it can’t get worse.
Also, FUCK YOU Time Warner!!!!!! I hope I get randomly selected for your goddamn customer service survey so I can vent again straight in your shitty earhole.
