How To Make Money Online As A Student
As a student, being financially independent is a tough goal.
Let´s break out a couple of work possibilities that we could use while still being based at home.
From my experience, I can say, that finding the motivation to do something beyond the call of school duty is challenging. Having a part-time job during the studies is, however, a sign of general determination and willingness not to financially depend so much on our parents. I´ve been earning more or less money since I was 15, yet all the jobs that I´ve done required being somewhere in person. Since the outburst of pandemic last year, lots of typical student workplaces such as coffee houses, cinemas, or sports grounds shut down and haven´t open ever since. So as the youngest generation, which was basically born with computers, it shouldn't be a problem to make some cash online, right?
In the last year, I´ve tried multiple online job offers, and having read tons of articles about how to find a job from home, I believe I have quite an opinion on what´s decent to be occupied with. So give it a go, if you want to have some self-earned means for your next adventures!
Tips on how to make some extra money from anywhere
Book or music reviews
One of my favorites, how to combine passion with work. After listening to some suggested music or reading a book, you´ll give short complex feedback or a review to the publishing company.
Books:
Reedsy Discovery- payment in form of tips from readers of your review
Online Book Club- $5 to $60/review
Upwork
Kirkus
Music:

Tutoring online
Use your academic talents. It doesn´t matter if you´re strong in mathematics or languages, people are daily searching for tutors from various spheres. Engage your googling skills and sooner or later, you will find someone who needs your help. For teaching specific subjects, have a look at Tutor.com or Wyzant. English, in particular, is generally frequently demanded, usually as a foreign language, so English speakers, test out GoGoKid or VIPKID to find some of the best tutoring offers.
Taking online surveys
Super simple task, which usually doesn´t require any previous knowledge. Public opinion surveys are being displayed on various topics, from finding out the most played musical instruments to how often do teens averagely sport, you can easily find some regular source of questionnaires that usually don´t take more than 30 minutes. The payment ordinarily ranges between $1 to $5 per survey, although Google has no problem with finding more profitable ones which, however, take a bit more time to fill out.

Freelance writing/Copywriting
Write about whatever just crosses your mind. You never know, which topic will catch the attention of thousands of readers and with persistence, you can make reasonably good money out of it. You can try either blog, however, this requires a certain level of technical ability and huge patience, or one of the many publishing platforms, such as Medium : )
Lots of companies also look for people that could write content in form of posts on their websites, so do well your research. Start let´s say here.
Transcriptionists
Transcriptionists are people who are paid for listening to audio recordings and writing their content down. The key in order to succeed in this type of job, you should be pretty quick in writing and have sufficient accuracy and attention to details. However, with these skills, you can make up to $25/hour. For further information, visit for example TranscribeMe or Rev!
Do not hesitate to leave a comment, if you have any experience with some of these online job providers, or if you know any other companies that could help someone to engage.
And finally, EVERYTHING that you are proud of can be useful for profit. Follow your instincts and dreams and don´t be afraid of offering your skills.
