When we’re dating, I’m pretty sure everyone asks the question, “Could this person be my soul mate?” “Could this person be the one?” We have never asked, “Could this person be my twin flame?” up until recently. The surfacing of twin flames is a spiritual calling to heal, not a divine right.
We all want that deep intimate connection. We want continued passion. We want one person to be the person we know we are safe and secure with, and we want to be loved as perfectly as we have seen love modeled, even if only streaming. We deserve to have our desires met. And yet, we also deserve to know ourselves honestly. The twin flame path is not for everyone, and maybe reading this will help you understand why.
So, let’s start there. There’s an “other” specialness to the idea of twin flames. It’s seductive and alluring to think you’re destined to be with the one soul in all the Universe that is just like you. So, be real with yourself. Do you just wish you were on a twin flame path?
