Cuddle Cot in Memory of Darby Grace, a campaign aiming to raise money to make a donation of a Cuddle Cot to a local hospital, will be hosting a Dine and Donate at the Red Lion Inn, 101 Red Lion Road, Southampton, on Thursday, March 19, from 3:30 to 9 p.m. (This date is a postponement from the previously scheduled fundraiser.) Dine in or take out. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the U.S. Cuddle Cot Initiative for a Cuddle Cot to be donated to Virtua hospitals.
The Worrells, of Shamong, started this campaign in memory of their daughter, Darby Grace, who was stillborn at 35 weeks. Cuddle Cots are medical devices that act like a refrigerated bassinet, giving grieving families more time with their stillborn babies at the hospital.
Reservations are not needed but recommended. For more information or to make a donation, visit www.gofundme.com/cuddlecotfromdarby.
