Lenape Regional High School District hosts People’s Choice Awards
Spotlighting one-of-a-kind students
Each of the LRHSD high schools is holding a People’s Choice Awards ceremony sponsored by their school’s Renaissance Club. Unlike most award ceremonies, which honor the highest achievers, a People’s Choice Award is given to a student who has made a difference to a staff member in some positive manner. There are a variety of reasons that a student may be chosen such as being a hard worker, a peer leader, most improved, enthusiastic or something as simple as making each day a little brighter. The chosen students will have the opportunity at the ceremony to hear the reason why the staff member nominated them and will be presented with a medallion that is worn at their future graduation ceremony.
Lenape High School will hold the event on Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m. at 235 Hartford Road in Medford.
Shawnee High School will hold the event on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at 600 Tabernacle Road in Medford.
Seneca High School will hold the event on Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at 110 Carranza Road in Tabernacle.
Cherokee High School will hold the event on Tuesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center located at 130 Tomlinson Mill Road in Marlton.
All ceremonies are open to the public.
