What Makes Your Blood Run Cold

Defined — If you say that something makes your blood run cold or makes your blood freeze, you mean that it makes you feel very frightened. ~Source

I might add that my list includes things that not only frighten me but also shock, unnerve, and disgust me. What might some of those things be? Check out the following list. Some you’ll probably agree with and some you might find ridiculous. However, this is my list so I invite you to make your own. I’d love to read it.

• Shots — no matter how many you've had in the past, the next one always sends a chill up your spine.
• Clowns and life-like dolls — I genuinely don’t like them. I have an uncomfortable dread of clowns and dolls that are too life-like for comfort.
• Being alone in the dark — It’s not so much, the dark, as what might be lurking in the dark. Personally, I’d rather be alone in the dark than have the company of a psychopath.
• Spider on the ceiling over my bed — Needs no explanation!
• Anything with big teeth or long claws — It’s getting obvious that I’m a girly girl, isn’t it…
• Snakes — Every color and size. Makes no difference to me if it’s venomous or not, I don’t want to be up close and personal…
