When is it Enough

When is it enough?

“Enough of what?” You ask.

Enough of uncertainty and fear

Because those who should know better

Do not care.

Enough of choosing the same

Faulty solutions to the same old problems

And expecting it to work this time.

Enough of hating what is different

Because we’re too stupid to see its

Beauty or know its value.

Enough of victimizing children because

They are innocent, clueless, and because they

Want to believe in you, they trust.

Enough of the careless and criminal

Exploitation of the resources and natural

Beauty of our planet, Earth.

Enough of the arrogant and unreasoning

Denial of a creator who will soon call all mankind

To an accounting.

Enough of the deliberate actions no longer

Perceived as immoral or wrong, giving rise

To selfishness and harm on a global scale.

So, I ask you. “When is it enough?”
