Since he began his candidacy in April, Joe Biden has been a frontrunner in the Democratic primaries. Here’s what the former vice president had to say at the end of last night’s debate in Los Angeles.

BIDEN: Thank you, thanks, thanks, right. Thank you to Loyola University for organizing this event tonight. Thank you to the warm city of Los Angeles for your warm welcome. I know that many of you are preparing for the holidays, and the last thing you want in life is a political battle. Nothing worse than that cousin who won’t be silent about politics, right? Turkey dinner gets weird when that guy comes to dinner.

But I know this much is true: President Trump is our president, and he’s not doing such a big job as such! He’s dangerous. He is going to lead us into the world of fears. Impeachment, wow, that’s a big one. It’s like my son, Beau, said about something like being presidential: he has to be presidential to be president, and that man is not our president. President Trump is a deviation unto himself.

In this, the last month of the decade, we must ask ourselves: are we to be Americans? I have everything for the commandment. Whether there’s a weather problem, a president, or a difference between the rich and the poor, we should gather as Americans in the spirit of Jesus, the Bethlehem boy. We can do what you can, princess and gentleman, and why not?
