1. It can be mentally draining

Constantly checking your stats can make you anxious over time. When you are over-measuring your progress, your mood can quickly change by the whim of your audience and the algorithm. That’s not healthy.

2. It wastes your time to create more content

Over-checking your analytics distracts you from what you should be doing — consistently creating helpful content.

3. It can take away from your creativity

Relying too heavily on numbers might make you less creative. You may stick with the content that works, but it might be something other than what you’re passionate about.
