3 Shortform Post Types You Must Try

Shortform posts may look lazy, but they can be powerful. Try these formats.

Shortform posts feel like getting paid for… tweeting. Wanna play with it? Give these a try:

1. Reply to another Medium post — if you read a story you’re excited about, share your opinion in a new (shortform) story. Tag the author and link their work!
2. Share a story from outside of Medium — if you found great content elsewhere, share the link and your thoughts on it in a shortform post.
3. Do a roundup — you can pack into a shortform your most popular stories, stories you’re proud of that performed terribly, writers you follow, etc.!
